Internet~ got!
The house is turning out pretty cool, I think it'll be a lot of fun for summer. I still havent rode the max to school yet, even though it's only a couple blocks away. I feel like I'd be wasting my parking permit I have for the rest of the term. It only takes 10 minutes to drive from here to school!
There are couple things with the house that might be bad though. 1) we've had a complaint about nearly every appliance. The washer and dryer are very old. You have to actually take the top off the washer and set it somewhere when loading clothes because it's kind of broken, and it doesn't always get all the soap out of the clothes. The dryer wasn't working, but we found the lint trap, which looks like it hadn't been changed in FOREVER. We pulled a lint mat out over an inch thick. Did the people living here before NEVER change it??? o.O Now it works pretty well. Your clothes are almost too hot to touch when they come out!
The walls, we think, aren't very insulated too. This won't be too much of a problem during summer, but it might if we're still here when winter comes around again! All in all, it's turning out to be nifty.
