[He just glares, expression stony. In a second, Oathkeeper and Oblivion appear in his hands, though he doesn't raise them just yet.]
Forget it. If you're going to get back at me for betraying you and the rest of the Organization - if you want to get even for it - I'd rather get it over with now.
[Roxas starts and takes a few steps forward towards that balcony, raising the Keyblades. Good thing Xigbar's too far to see how conflicted he is right now.]
Why does it even matter?! It's over, Xigbar! The Organization fell apart, thanks to Sora, so why...? [he just growls in frustration and steps closer, tilting his head back as he stares up.] I don't want to wake up one night and find out your idea of a good time is making the traitor pay, so let's just get this over with now!
[Even from afar his surprise and confusion are obvious] .. pick up the scraps? You can't mean-- [the surprise and confusion vanish, quickly swallowed by a snarl] What, and stayed to be your puppet forever? Yeah right! [he dodges those shots easily, but not gracefully. he's a bit rusty - not that he'd ever admit it.]
.. manners?! [exasperation and anger are about equal, now. so emotional, for a Nobody.] Look who's talking! You're the one shooting at me!
It'd sure have a better outcome than running away. But what can I say, everyone wants to go at it on their own at some point. [Laughs at this display.]
Remember, you brought othe weapons out first. Don't make the challenge if you can't take the heat, Roxas. [Stands up on the balcony.] And it looks like we had a little misunderstanding. See, you're acting like it was my fault you got all hasty.
Oh, sure. I'd just live in ignorance forever while the Superior used me like some -- tool, like what I thought didn't matter at all.
[He just .. stares. Abruptly he drops the keyblades and they clatter noisily on the ground before just vanishing.] So what, you don't want to fight? You'll just leave me alone and not bother me? Like I'm going to believe that. I just want to get this over with, Xigbar.
Oh, you didn't hear? That's just 'cause they don't.
[Moar sneering, hasn't put his guns away.] Now you're just putting words in my mouth. See, you've caused me a lot of trouble. All I did was point out that you were asking for it. Now heads up! [Lets loose a volley of bullets from overhead. Expect some divine intervention if things get out of hand, though.]
[that makes him grit his teeth, and he grates out the words] I realized.
[Looks like he wants to respond, but that volley of bullets is sudden. Sudden enough that he can't quite call up the keyblades before a few of them connect, gouging at his arms and torso before he rolls out of the way of the rest, keyblades now firmly in hand. He immediately jumps back to his feet and aims Oathkeeper at Xigbar to launch an ice spell - a trick he picked up from Sora. Then he just plain throws Oblivion at him, with good aim. Not that he plans on making this too bad a fight - he just wants the other to shut up and go away.]

I didn't come crawling back anywhere, Xigbar. In case you hadn't noticed, this isn't The World That Never Was.

It seems as though you're missing the point. Let me clear that up for you!
A traitor's still a traitor no matter what world he's in. You've got a lot of guts approaching me like this, but guts won't get you anywhere.

Yeah, so what? You gonna do something about it? You don't have the Superior to back you up anymore.

Might wanna reconsider that thought, traitor!

And that's not a very polite thing to say. You should really get working on those manners- never know when they might come in handy!
