Here are my thoughts on what's going on in HBP.
Snape is still a good guy. The fights with Dumbledore, getting the DADA job, not killing Harry too at the end. It all fits into Dumbledore's master plan in saving his students, all of them (I'll get back to this in a sec). It also cements Snape in place as the most trusted of Voldies allies. I wouldn't be surprised if Snape saves Harry in the end.
I actually loved Draco in this book. He's a real person who’s being fucked by the dark side. Wouldn't be surprised if Draco fucks the Dark side in the end. Harry should have realized this and tried to help him but he didn't. I always thought that Draco and Harry could have been the best of friends but alas fate has separated the two forever...or maybe...
My brother thinks that Harry might be a Horocrux. *shrugs*
The prophecy could have something to do with Snape. Snape we learned is much like Voldie himself, what if b/c of Snape's killing, Voldie "marks him as his equal".
There is the off chance that Malfoy’s could be a good themselves. Seems like everything they do turns out sour.
