MOOVEEZ and other stuff
My friend Kim came up with an ingenious invention. Moviefone should have something where it texts your phone when new movies are released. I have such a hard time keeping track. Even now. I feel so behind already because I have no idea what's been released, or what's coming out that I want to see. I honestly wonder if I should keep track on LiveJournal or something. Or I guess I could pull out my calendar and write them down. Idkw, but I'm soooooo lazyyyy when it comes to going to the movies. Like, the day I decide I want to go, I always find some inane, completely idiotic reason to not go when really... I just don't want to take a shower, get dressed, and drive 15 minutes to the closest movie theater. And then I usually have to go by myself and while I'm not exactly rolling around in debt, it can be expensive after a while. At least when I go with my mom, she'll pay for me. But that means I have to go see something she wants to see and, gaaaahhh... it's just frustrating. (Half of Shannon's flist: No, you're just kind of crazy.)
NEWAIZOMG, Kim and I went to see Inkheart tonight. It was good. Paul Bettany was HOT. The kid who played Farid (Rafi Gavron--yeah, I looked that up) gave Kim and I numerous gigglefests because he kept climbing things. Kim: "He's like a monkey," so, of course, I couldn't help but lean over and whisper spidermonkey, which made us laugh even harder. I think I might enjoy it more after a second viewing. Seems like one of those movies.
I saw trailers for Dragonball: Evolution (which I had no desire to see beforehand, but will now be buying a ticket for AND IDC IF I SEEM LAME BECAUSE OF THIS IDCIDC), 17 Again, and HARRY POTTER GAH!!!! Kim thought it was hilarious that I knew all the names for characters in Dragonball. I still can't get over the fact that Emmy Rossum is playing Bulma. Seriously. It boggles my braincells. 17 Again actually looks funny. I was shocked by how cute Zac Efron has gotten. Like, no joke. I never thought that sentence would find its way past my lips, but it's true. He looked like Chris Lowell at certain parts in the trailer. Even Kim looked at me after we'd first seen Zac and was like, "Was that the kid from High School Musical?" Me: "Yeeeeaaahhhhh......." "Why does he look so hot now?" AND HARRY POTTER. What do you say about Harry Potter that hasn't already been said? After we finished watching it, we both immediately wished that's the movie we had come to see. *siiiiiiggghhhhhhhh* Oh, well. Soon. And I have so much to look forward to before HP! LIKE WATCHMEN. SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
You guys, I have bought SO MUCH CRAP all in a span of a day. Yesterday, specifically. Most of it wasn't for me, though. (Well, I shouldn't say that. The more expensive items I bought weren't for me.) I have birthdays coming up. But I'm kind of broke now. Let's just list it. It's easier.
I got the first two things in the mail yesterday:
A notebook bought on Etsy I had intended to use for writing recipes I liked down in. It's not really what I was hoping for, but I still like it. I just don't think I'll be using it as my notebook. I'll use it eventually, though. And, yes, the seller actually included an unsharpened pencil for me.

Brothers and Sisters season 1 on DVD
A customized Starbucks card for $15
All from Papyrus: card, gift bag, and tissue paper
I still kind of want to buy her The Closer season 1 on DVD, but I need to get paid first.

I also bought some things for Kim's birthday on February 23rd, but she's on my flist, so I can't list those, lol. And I decided to try making my own recipe notebook, so I bought some gold-colored card stock and aqua-colored paper from a website I found online. I think I'll try to emulate the design of the one I bought. Maybe. We'll see how crafty I can be.
And, okay, that wasn't a lot a lot, but I've got a credit card bill going through in February and my mom just deposited a check I gave her a while back for some Christmas presents she bought for me in December, so I won't have much left after that.
Now I have to go to sleep. Work tomorrow. Yuck.
