today my life changed.
here is how.
today a man asked me for a ciggarette. i gave him one as i would to any passerby looking for a butt.
he then asked me what i thought of the great wall of china. the first thing that rolled off my tongue, and into his ear was, "its pretty big". he responded than i had to his first question. the words he utterd were "dont ever go to chicago, they have a great fence". i didnt know what to say. quite possiby the smoke of my own ciggarette was too busy making its way down to my lungs for me to concentrate on a reply. but even though there were no words to be spoken, all i could think of at that moment was chicagos fence, and i had nothing to say.
i never want to be like that.
