Hm. I've been rather... 'emo' these days, for a lack of a better word. It's the stress and the scary advent of promos looming in the near distance that's been getting to me. But it's also because of the intense pangs of loneliness I get from time to time. Which I have now identified as an emotion that can only be called 'friend-sick'. XD And what most people would say to this is:
Well, pick up the phone and call them up then you stupid woman!
But you know I've never been the sort to do that. Ever. Even, I think, to the point that it would make you guys think that I'm trying to distance myself. But it's not really.
Top 10 Things I Miss (in no particular order)
1. Feeding the pigeons and crows in that corner
The slanting-sideways bird... the ones that were always missing their feet...
2. Standing in front of paintings and making off-tangent observations
3. Being able to sit on a bench (or any other place sit-eable) and just... sit there. For a long time. Talking and not-talking.
4. Relationship Dynamics (HA. I'm going all lit now.)
The ups and downs of being in a 3-way friendship since it is an odd number and there's bound to be feelings of neglect from time to time.
5. Stupid, random, weird humor.
The kind that only made nonsensical sense to us.
6. Books
I know YZ said that you'd lost interest in them a long while back. But... y'know. We were still able to just ramble through Kino, Pageone...etc. or any other bookshop.
7. Observations
Sometimes we'd just stand around one object, or focus on something that had simply passed by for a few seconds, and a full length blown out conversation could actually erupt from it.
8. Laughter
The ones that annoyed the shit out of our classmates. Because it went on and on and we couldn't stop due to something that just seemed hilariously funny at the time.
9. Doodles
10. Stupid, random, weird things that we did due to a spontaneous impulse. Walking in the rain. Trying to find a hole in the fence. Going down the road generally-not-taken. Running down a steep incline. Going through an elaborate set-up to try and throw spaghetti into that old-man's house.
+ YZ! If you're reading this, I shall add here that the reason I have not returned your sms is not bc I am ignoring you. My hp officially died today. It needs either a top up or a new number, I'm not sure.
