I'm still out here reading, GI! And congratulations on the new job-very brave of you to take the plunge, shake up your routine, step into the unknown! Glad it's working out well for you so far. :)

I, too, have found strange fortunes sometimes come my way when I "say yes" to an unforeseen opened door. Perhaps the sense of any failure is fallacy, in that our own needs are met when we truly have those needs. That is to say, perhaps we believe we need more than we do. Eitherway for my own weirdness, glad to see a post from you and that you're doing well. Remember, too, all around us everything changes. In order to remain, we too must be willing to change, 'lest we are left behind.

I hardly ever write anything here anymore. And most of the people on my friends list seem to have disappeared. Perhaps if I wrote more, people would check in on me sometimes, don't know.

ANyway, congratulations and good luck with your new job. It must be a big change.

I still stop by and read, but I find it difficult to write anything. Not that there are aren't a few interesting things happening. For instance last week I thought my shed was haunted for several days, but it turned out I had somehow locked a possum up in there. How that thing completely wrapped the curtains up around the rod I'll never know.

Anyways, congratulations and props on the new job.
