A quiet calm…with no storm in sight

I heard birds and I opened my eyes slightly, squeezing them back again when I was nearly blinded by the glare from the snow. I rolled over and buried my face in Lindsey’s shoulder, taking in his scent and getting lost in the memories of last night

I turned the shower off and got out. Tara had said she was going to take advantage of the kitchen so when I woke up I thought I'd give her time to do so.

I pulled on a pair of jeans and a button up shirt but left it unbuttoned. I shook the spare water out of my hair, sending it flying around the bathroom.

I felt my lips curl up in a smile when I thought about last night. All the fantacies I'd been having since I met Tara, none of them compaired to last night.

I made my way down the stairs, notcing the table was set. I walked towards her, she wasn't paying too much attention. I snuck up behind her and wrapped my arms around her body pulling her back to me and kissing the tender spot on her neck, there was already a slight bruise there from my attentions before.

"Mmmm, morning."

I jumped and dropped the toast when his arms grabbed me from behind and pulled me to him. "Morning." My eyes closed lazily and I melted to his touch, shivering when his lips met that spot on my neck.

"Sweetie..." I breathed. "You're driving me crazy when you go to that spot..." In response he nuzzled it with his nose. My knees went weak when I felt his teeth lightly against it. "You're so wicked..." I cleared my throat, still unable to find the strength to leave his arms. "I ummm m-made breakfast..."

"Sweetie..."

"mmm?" I murmured into her neck. Keeping my grip firm on her, just holding her.

"You're driving me crazy when you go to that spot..."

I chuckled and nuzzled her neck for a moment.

"That's the plan." I said finally and then resumed my attentions to her neck, beautiful yummy neck.

"You're so wicked... I ummm m-made breakfast..."

I nodded, moved way and put the toast on a plate with a spare hand. Pulling her with me to one side of the table I grabbed that plate and then pulled her back to the other side of the table.

I put the food down, checked to make sure it was all reachable and then sat down, pulling her in my lap with both our plates in front of us.

I kept one arm planted firmly around her.

"Looks good. You look better."

I positioned her where she could get to the food, put cupped her cheek in my hand and pulled her down for a kiss.

I followed his lead like a rag doll and let him lead me wherever he wished. I laughed and shook my head when I realized he was going to make me sit on his lap.

I sat down and leaned back into him as he kissed me. "Mmm I like this..." I grinned against his lips and innocently shifted on his lap, smirking when he groaned and gripped me tighter to him. "Yes?" I licked my lips and reached over to pick up a piece of fruit, I popped a grape into my mouth and rested back against him. "So, what are your plans for today? Hmmm I know you've something planned...you always do."

I chuckled.

"Well actually. I don't have a plan today. I figured we'd just wing it."

I smiled and shoved some pancakes in my mouth.

"Yum."

I laughed and shook my head, leaning over and cleaning up some pancake from his cheek and smiling at him before I took a few bites of egg. "Ahhh, you and your winging. Don't you ever get tired of that? I mean all that flapping around and failing your arms about."

I snickered and took a sip of my juice before looking back at him. "Hmmm well we could go and play in the snow...then come back in...use that beautiful tub up stairs and then cuddle by the fire..." That did sound heavenly. Then again anything with Lindsey did. "I'm so getting you to sing again mister." I grinned down at him before turning back and having more pancake.

"Ahhh, you and your winging. Don't you ever get tired of that? I mean all that flapping around and failing your arms about."

I shook my head with another chuckle.

"Hmmm well we could go and play in the snow...then come back in...use that beautiful tub up stairs and then cuddle by the fire..."

I smiled.

"That doesn't sound like such a bad idea. Ever built a snowman?"

My eyes twinkled with an idea.

"I'm so getting you to sing again mister."

I grinned. She was was she? I knew I'd sing for her anytime she asked me too, and I bet she knew it too but what fun would it be to just relent?

"Oh yeah? Well I don't know what motivation you could possibly give me to do it again."

I winked and smiled, taking a sip of OJ.

I shook my head and looked down, taking a bite of pancake. "Nope, never had the chance really." That and the one time I tried to my father...

Let's not go there.

I wiggled on his lap and grinned. "Ohh yeah, I have my ways mister." I smirked at him. "I can get anything I want from you." I purred and took his hand that was around my waist and slowly brought it down just a bit till it reached the edges of his shirt I was currently occupied in. I grinned when he shifted. "See...told you."

I chuckled.

"Yeah. And do you plan to use this power for the forces of good?" I asked playfully.

I had to move to get a bit more comfortable, her presence was enough to make me rock hard, but her movements made it even more so.

"Well snowman building it is. After breakfest of course."

I wrapped my arms around her again and kissed her neck lightly before resting one hand on her thigh and bringing a forkfull of pancakes up to my mouth.

I laughed, trying to keep from blushing. "Why Lindsey, you wouldn't like it if I was bad?" I cocked a brow at him and gave him a wicked look. I've been learning from the best.

Nodding, I smiled. "Sounds perfect." I shivered when his lips were at my neck again. "Are you trying to get my brain to turn to mush and leak out of my ear?" I scrunched my nose. Ok, that was gross, even for me.

Quietly we had breakfast and with much protest from him I cleaned up the dishes. I rummaged through the freezer and then looked back at him. "Plans for dinner? What w-would you like?" It was nice to be quiet and normal for a bit, maybe even forget about everything else back in California. For a little while at least.

I walked up behind her and planted my lips on her neck again, hands absently rubbing her stomach.

"Mmm. You." I murmured in her ear.

I shut the freezer door and turned her around to face me and kissed her softly. Hand tangled in her hair, the other on her back pressing her to me.

I pulled back.

"Yep, that's my final answer."

I shivered at his voice so close to my ear. "T-tease..." I wrapped my arms around his waist and pressed my body closer to his. "Well I don't think I'm edable plus you need to eat honey." I blushed deeply and rested my head against his chest. "Forget I said any of that." I can't belive what I just...something's so wrong with me. I must really be twisted somewhere.

Taking a deep breath I looked at him. "Ok, food, tonight, what do you want? Not. Me."

I laughed.

"I still want you, but if your going to make me consume actual food I guess, I don't know what do you want?"

I leaned down and kissed her again. I couldn't get tired of kissing her, she was so beautiful.

I grinned.

I shook my head. "Wicked cowboy." I looked up and grinned at him. "Ummm, how about..." I tried to remember what I saw in the freezer. "Ohh, fried chicken? Can't go wrong with that." Well, unless you bring it to his office and then well...

No, not thinking about that.

"How's that sound? And I'll go up and get dressed, we can go be five and play in the snow for a while." I could see images of the hottub and the fire place after. I liked that plan.

I chuckled.

"Sounds good to me."

She moved to head upstairs but I wouldn't let her go.

"Oh you meant right now?" I smiled and licked my lips, just looking at her, drinking her in.

My hands rubbed the small of her back and I kissed her again. I loved being this free with her, just being amazing.

I took a deep breath and looked up at him, his hands burning into my flesh wherever he touched. "Well ummm it c-could be later...much...later..."

Licking my lips I grinned and ran my hands over his chest, leaning up on my tiptoes and kissing him softly.

I slowly pulled away from his arms and headed up the stairs, clothing would be good, especially if we're going to be out in the snow. I couldn't wait, it's been so long. I just hoped I didn't act like a total fool.
