It's not whether you win or lose..
My beloved Mets smooshed the Marlines by 7-2, and what a game. For once we actually went over thirty-four and a half thousand people, which is practically a record as far as we're concerned. Baseball's not big down here, so it was nice to see so many people actually attend the game, even if it still pales in comparison to other, grander stadiums. Both teams were on their P's and Q's stealing bases, pitching fits, playing tag and hitting home runs like they had to make up for last year's less than mediocre season. At one point a player actually lost control of his bat, it ricocheted off the wall, cracked in half and went flying into the seats. It's all in how you play the game.
