After 110 Weeks
Hey there livejournal community,
It's been 110 weeks since I've posted on LJ and there has obviously been some change in my life. Since then I've graduated from High School and am in my second semester at MSU as a Earth Science Major. I've been doing fairly well, the transition from Paw Paw to East Lansing was pretty tough for me but, I'm settled in now and counting down the days until spring break (6) and finally the end of the semester.
I have applied for several internships throught the Studen Conservation Association (SCA) in areas such as Sleeping Bear Dunes, and along the East and West Coasts. Hopefully I'll get one of those and get some hands on experience this summer. Eventually I'd like to work in a national park helping people appreciate the value of the natural world and ways that they can conserve it.
For now I'm working at Jenison Fieldhouse at MSU issuing and washing varsity uniforms and equipment. It's a pretty good job considering I am usually surfing the web or studying.
I guess that will do for now. I miss the good old days of reading LJ posts and having people post of mine so I'm gonna try and bring this back....as others have.
Either way I'll start posting pretty often.
