You should all know that Friday, May 5 is No Pants Day. If the weather becomes sunnier, I may celebrate by wearing ... a skirt. Gasp.
I got to be in a promotional company video today in which I sang, "I like to move it, move it" and danced around like an idiot. And said "exciting!" with jazz hands. Hopefully they'll edit me out. You all lose, though, because whatever happens, this video will not be released outside the company. Or so I've been told.
Oh, yes, the video was to commemorate our flagship site, which is now live at http://www.move.com. It's the culmination of years of hard work, much of which was thrown away as they changed directions about seventeen times. (Fortunately for me, most of the stuff I worked on has been incorporated in some form.) But it basically works and it looks pretty (and our current version tested much better and is much more usable than previous iterations), so I'm proud. I'm also the new owner of promotional swag: static cling "sticker", two insulated coffee mugs, two pens, sticky notes, and bigger note pad. (Somehow I missed out on the massager and the gym bag; remains to be seen whether I'll also get the t-shirt.)
I also hope that this post will herald an era of more frequent posting, since I exist and it's not like I don't have anything to say. But I've been wrong in the past.
