Even an assassin can make the flowers grow

I had a lovely weekend with my Annie. I don't have much to say about it except. I've seen Ann a handful of times since I moved away from Cape Cod, but everytime I see her we pick up right where we left off. I guess that is the sign of a true friend.

This week has begun with such beautiful weather. I love Vermont on days like this.

My cold has still not gone away so I had to go to the Health Center today. The Doc gave me a perscription for Zithromax, a lovely anti-biotic. I most likely have bronchitis caused from post-nasal drip of my cold. Awesome! I've been hacking up a lung, but it is much better today than it has been all week, so that's good.

Variations on the Death of Trotsky opens in a week. I'm in group A so you UVM bitches should go see it either Wednesday or Friday of next week. Because you love me, and theater is pretty bitchin', and the one act festival is a marvelous opportunity to see some great theater. I had my costume fitting today. I am so excited I could cry. I get to wear petticoats and this long black tafetta skirt with a train and a bodice with enormous puffy sleeves and a big black hat with a train. It's brilliant. Costumes are my favorite part of theater. It justs make developing a character that much easier.

Speaking of theater, I think that I am going to be a theater major. My mother is concerned that I won't make money, and she may be right, but we both decided that Theater is my greatest love and joy. I think that in order to get the grades I should I am better off taking theater classes because it is something I know and want to know more about. Theater is like oxygen.

Mother took me out to dinner yesterday. We went to Chilis, it was loverly. She bought me the Gone With the Wind special edition DVD. Now I own almost all of my favorite films on DVD. I just have to add Star Wars to the collection and I'll have them all.

I should go eat some food before rehearsal. Peace. Love. Good weather and a little Hemingway.
