I'm alive!
I have been trying to put together an update from the "grand trip" but it just has not happened...sorry about that. In a nutshell, we had a great time visiting, but I definitely do not want to live in Hawaii. The natives don't like us 'howlies' in any way shape or form.
Work is going well. I'm working a compressed schedule which means I'm in the office from 8am-6:30pm Monday-Thursday and off on Fridays. Nice gig, except I'm not really off because I'm working on school stuff.
Speaking of school, wow, Statistical Analysis is not my forte. At.All. Looks like I'll be pulling for another "B".
The girls are doing extremely well. K.J. took acting classes all last spring and they had their final performance in June. She did a great job in her role as one of the popular kids in their adapted story of "The Ugly Duckling". Unfortunately, she says that acting is not for her, but that tap is, so we'll be sending her back to dance class. Oh! Also, she starts back to school on July 30...did I mention they just got out June 1? Yep. K.R. had to get glasses because of near sightedness and an astigmatism (no idea WHERE she got that *looks suspicious*) but we're hoping it will be corrected with prescription lenses.
In other fun news, I have my first broken bone, ever! My pinky toe on my left foot. YEOUCH! I've had tons of spraines, twists, etc. from my soccer days, but never a broken bone. Check mark off the bucket list.
