I see that we have a chapter there...any word on whether any Sigma Kappas were harmed? Of course my heart goes out to everyone; the victims, all students and faculty/staff, the community, and their families and friends. They were showing individual stories about the victims this morning on NBC, but I only had time to see one. It was heartbreaking.
This new information is just scary. At least there's more of an answer now though. It's not knowing why that sometimes makes it worse. Not that it's justified in any way, of course.
National Headquarters has confirmed that all Sigma Kappa Sorority collegiate members of Epsilon Chi chapter at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University are accounted for and safe. National President Barbara Wilmer stated “Sigma Kappa sends our heartfelt sympathy to the entire Virginia Tech community. We would like to send a special message of support to our friends of the campus Greek community with members who are victims of this tragedy.”
