Thanks to all of you who responded to my previous post. Unfortunately, I never got a chance to speak to the party giver, and it actually worked out better that I didn't. Little bit is sick, again, but I'm included in this round. Apparently we have the nasty sinus funk (sniffles, fever, sore throat) that's going around.
For me, it probably didn't help that I went downtown last night without a jacket (the temp was 47 degrees F). Stupid, yes. I honestly thought my jacket was in the vehicle. Luckily one of our friends had a spare jacket in his car and went to get it for me. My hope is that I didn't get the folks we were with last night sick.
