When someone says their day was "good", they really mean they have something troubling them but don't want you to know what it is for whatever reason. When someone says they're having a shitty day, they most likely are. I've been having good days, but I don't mean that in the way I just stated or maybe I do. I've been itching to draw something really cool and get it on here, but I've been preoccupied with wasting my time in some manner that is in no way productive. There's not much to say about school. It is what it is and sometimes you just have to eat your greens, even if that means eating tennis balls. I haven't encountered any balls yet though. It's mostly been broccoli and asparagus.
The play that Mr. Scott has decided to do is titled "Godspell". For those of you that don't know, it has to do with god. More specifically, it has to do with the life of Jesus. It is a musical, but it's not like going to church. It's a play. It's meant to entertain you! Some people(*cough*Ms. Bell*cough*) take it a bit too seriously. It's not her fault. She just doesn't want any crazy Jews barging in in the middle of the show shouting profanities in Yiddish and throwing menorahs at the actors. There is much writing of permission papers and public announcements to be done. What a bunch of BS for one play.
That's pretty much what's going on in my life. Well, it's all I care to write about. I hope to have a drawing up soon.
It rained today. I love the rain. As I rode my bike home from school, soaking wet and all, I was reminded of some lyrics to a They Might Be Giants song. I found it fitting.
Well the rain falls down without my help I'm afraid
And my lawn gets wet though I've withheld my consent
When this grey world crumbles like a cake
I'll be hanging from the hope
That I'll never see that recipe again
