This is bizarre, back in the last year I thought you hadn't answered, and the information of it did go to my old e-mail address, so... I just noticed this now, when i did go check my old account. :S I wonder if you will be reading this anymore here, but I am answering anyways.

I am actually already familiar with Deadman Wonderland, because of the anime. It was ok for me thought. I've also read Homunculus, and it was really fantastic experience, thought I can't say it's one of the best mangas I've ever read, because of the last chapters. They were a big disappointment for me. It might certainly be a good idea to check out his other work thought.
I bought the first 3 volumes of Vagabond a while ago, and I really liked them, and I've planned to read the whole series. To me the main guy in Vagabond looks a bit like Jim Morrison :'DD REAL left me a really good first impression, I still need to make myself to read it properly.

It's not really that I would seek up for messed up people and gore, but people struggling and growing with real issues, and a great deep story line. That's what Holyland helds in my opinion. I also highly enjoy the fighting scenes in the series, but what calls up for me is the use of different techniques and battling, over the mere violence. They are so fascinating... @w@

I will keep in mind those of your recommendations, you certainly have a great taste ^-^
