well I put in the color background from the one on you page and it turn out to be grey *man the color gry must like me or something, LOL* so I click on the other like mulitply it a softer kind of pic.

And it didn't work when you went to image>mode>rgb color like I said?

Hm...well nothing should be on greyscale. If that didn't work then I really don't know how to fix it. Maybe if you posted this on icon_help they'd be able to help you.

in my blending section doesn't have soft light, it has inner shadow outer glow and stuff, but no soft light.

Oops, I used the wrong word. It's not blending options..sorry. It should be on the drop down box on your layers pallette...right next to the opacity and stuff like that. The default should be Normal...so look for where it says Normal and click on it and you should see soft light on the drop down menu.
