Any question concerning any rule/specification/whatever?
You're in the right place to clear'em up! ;)

I
Credit

1 - Who do I credit?

slb_addicted @ graphics_box, just slb_addicted, or just graphics_box, it's undifferent to me, as long as you somehow link back here.

2 - Why should I credit?

For two reasons:
✭ It's nice for you to recognize my work, even the most simple text icon took me some precious time;
✭ The most important one: it's useful, 'cause, if, for some reason, someone "stalks" your userpics and find my not awesome at all icons, that someone will be wanting to find out where to get more of those... that's the helpful side of credit, that's mostly because of this that i'm asking this.

Also, there's no big excuse for not doing that, I always write my username/comm on my icons' filename ^^

But, see, if you, for some weird reason like being lazy or not getting how to do it, don't credit, I ain't gonna chase you... just make sure you DON'T STEAL, I mean, don't claim as yours something that is not yours and don't edit (unless for "domestic use") and post without permission.

3 - How do I credit (icons)?

Follow this steps:

1) Once you're uploading a pic (menu Profile > Manage your userpics), you're confronted with this screen:

2) You have chosen an icon (saved on your computer), typed some Keywords (anything that helps you with the icon identification) and finally, you credit on the Comment field:

by @

3) If you forgot to do that while uploading, you can edit anytime you want here:

After changing any setting, make sure you save your changes.

Here it is:

4 - What about banners / headers?

A note with my username/comm name (use code above) on your user info or anywhere you find proper will do.

II
Hotlinking

5 - What is hot/direct linking?

Well, basically, hotlinking happens anytime a picture hosted in Photobucket is loaded to a page, from its direct link (for more, make sure to read this entry). That means that whenever you load the page in order to see my post, fox example, hotlinking is happening. But you see, that's NOT the hotlinking that's condened around here; everyone wants their icons to be seen, of course.
The hotlinking I tell you NOT to do refers to when you copy/paste the direct link from my icons and use it for "uploading" an userpic or inside a html img code.

6 - What are the consequences of hotlinking?

My Photobucket bandwitdh will exceed and all my pictures will be gone. Not nice at all, am I right?

Any questions or anything else left, even after reading this HUGE FAQ?
Feel free to ask, I don't bite and will definetly give my best in order to help you ^^
