Yay! Another Loki vid - I was so excited when I saw you posted something new. And I just gotta say, WOW!!! What a wonderfully, fitting, poignant and powerful vid about Dean and Sam and where they find themselves. Ever since the finale aired I have been a little hot and cold about the episode. I loved it, but there are some things about it that cause me to question. But, I am excited about the possibilities for us in S8, and this vid really helps to capture them. Dean and Sam have gone through these last many years, together, sometimes at odds with each other, other times not, but they have struggled with their own failings and guilt, and yet continue to keep on going. The way this ending puts them, as Crowley stated to Sam, that he is utterly alone, is so true. Dean and Sam are both alone in precarious situations and they will both will have to rely on their own instincts as hunters, as brothers and as human beings, to find a way out of their predicament and back to each other. I see this coming year, at least the first couple of episodes as a way for each brother to see within themselves their own strength, their own value, their own worth, until they are able to be together again. And this vid really points that out. It points out how broken each of them have been, how broken they are, and now that they will have only themselves to truly rely upon, they will indeed see what they are made of, and I see it only as a positive experience for them, amidst all the angst and pain.
