Jensen wants to be as close to Jared as possible, and he’s aware of it going beyond friendship. Jensen never had such thoughts about another man before, but it’s not about choosing a sex. Jensen chose Jared.

“Hey,” he says softly, looking at Jensen through his bangs, shoving his hands in his pockets as he doesn’t think he can’t hold himself from hugging the guy, “You should’ve come sooner.”

It is about you. Everything is about you now, Jensen, Jared thinks.

When Jared wakes up gasping, alone in his bed, he can’t help but look around, desperately seeking any sign of Jensen.

8. Jackson Waters - Center Of Attention
He scratches off a short note for Jensen, agreeing to everything Jensen has in mind, “Okay.”
Jared can wait.

9. Hinder - Far From Home
Jensen’s absence leaves holes that no one else can fill.
With each morning, hope gets harder to find, and Jared forces himself to open his eyes and go to work as desperation paints his life in all colors of grey.

10. Matt Nathanson - Sooner Surrender
He chases and finds interesting places, amazing people, and bright impressions. Jensen clings to every piece of new thing in hopes of finding a bandage for his open wounds.

11. Jem - Missing You
A few minutes later, doctors come to find Jared clutching lifeless Jensen in his arms and praying quietly, eyes glassy, “Please come back.”

12. Death Cab For Cutie - Transatlanticism
The next moment, Jensen is right where Jared wants him to be - held tight in Jared’s arms. Jensen whispers something soft against Jared’s neck while Jared clings to him, eyes closed, chin resting on Jensen’s shoulder, breathing in Jensen’s scent, lost in the perfection of now.

Notes: So, this is it. It's been a joyful ride, and I'm really happy that I've had a chance to work with sanann once again. This movie is one of my all time favorites, and I can't even start to tell how happy I am that now there's a J2 version of it. I do hope that my art do justice for this story. sanann did an amazing job on choosing each and every word, creating the new world and atmosphere. She supported me from the very beginning and she checked every draft I threw at her, discussing it with me, telling me her ideas. I think it's really important for an artist and a writer to work in such tandem ♥
I would really like to thank _hopefuless_, naisica, nyaubaby and daria_chagina. Girls, I've had a hard time with some pieces and you really helped me to get through it ♥
And of course I want to thank wendy and thehighwaywoman for running this amazing challenge, for patience and understanding ♥
