She seems to be grinning to herself at whatever it is she's quickly sketching, looking pretty pleased. It isn't until she carefully tears out the sheet of paper

Just Negi-sensei and Konoka it seems. So far I'm not impressed with this place, but I guess I have no choice but to deal.

What's so bad about this place, other than the obvious?

The bad... well, aside from the obvious, there are creatures called the Animus who initiate "events" every other week... some are very bad, some are very good... some are plain annoying.

One time we were all followed around by specific songs. Another, the entire city flooded horribly. Most recently, peoples' powers were taken away. And right now there's a carnival going on.

[voice] she's technically brought in after the carnival but that's my fault for not specifying ;;

Seriously? They can make ferris wheels appear out of nowhere and control the elements for a week? Damn...

Yes, they're pretty powerful. They also bring those who've died here back to life. It's a little frightening.

They make network posts sometimes. We've made attempts to go to the Inner City to find them, but... it's pretty dangerous.
