Design in Canada
Hello everyone, hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.
I am figuring out some after college stuff and I am considering going north to Canada. I really wanted the whole new culture thing without the huge price tag of going abroad. I found this great program that allows you to get work up there for about 6-8 months. I wanted to find a work placement. for design or writing. What are some of the big Canadian job post sites?
Also, of the cities I am considering ( Toronto and Montreal + any others, I am really open ) which has the better job outlook for designers? I don't know much about any advertising or design firms that would be up there and I don't even know where to begin looking. The only place I know of is Trace Pictures and I would break off a limb to work there. I am going to send them my resume and portfolio at some point. Any Canadians out there want to give me some help or refer to a good place to get help?
I am also not just interested in design either: I love writing and music and style too. I am willing to take on anything creative.
