Is anyone else searching for a job in this economic climate? I am having the worst time ever right now, and I have a pretty broad skill set and nearly two years of experience (my student design job translated to a temporary 'pity position', wherein the university office can't afford to hire me full time, as much as they want to, but they don't want to dump me on the doorstep with no other options, but that runs out in May, since I graduated in August) and I can't figure out if it's because I'm doing something wrong or what.
What tips or tricks do you use to stand out in the sea of faces that I'm sure I'm lost in at the moment? If you landed your job between now and August last year, please tell me what you did creatively do I can get some ideas. It's pretty obvious I need to change my angle of approach.
