Protecting your creations?
So I'm a total noob to the freelance graphic design world. I just made a logo for someone and he asked me:
"How much concern should we place on protecting our property rights associated with this image?"
and I have no idea. Once something is made, do you need to do something official? Copyright?
Can I just put a copyright symbol or TM on the logo or is that meaningless without officially registering?
How/where do you resister these things? Would I do it, or the client?
