Hello all, I'm back... for now. Been throwing around a few things, consulting this page regularly and here's where we're at now: http://joewindetc.com/redesign3

I'm still working with IE6, so bear with me please.

i haven't seen your previous posts so i'm just going to nitpick your grammar instead. :)

Hello, my name is Joe Windeknecht and welcome to my design portfolio. I offer a variety of services ranging from web design, layout and print work, logos, and much more. We can create your vision, let's get started.

run-on sentences. i would put a period in the first sentence and either a period or a semi-colon in the second. a period would be a bit crisper and more direct.

thank you for putting both accents on résumé, though. that drives me nuts, heh.

i also take issue with the font size of your link strips at the bottom. you have one item going on to the second line. you could bump those down two points and not lose legibility, but it would look cleaner. the twitter column could be shrunk as well.

i think brown on blue would be better for your hovered links. more legible, at least.

it looks very nice otherwise

I think this is a little too minimalistic. It's nice, but it feels like it's missing something. It's also difficult to see how well it works as a portfolio site when you haven't mocked in any pieces to better show how you plan to display them ( ... )

I hate to say it, Joe, but frickinmuck's right (she tends to do that a lot... damn her!)

And I liked your last iteration a LOT more. This one's too blah-yet-contrasty
