Update on the job front
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who replied to my post about the production job. I had my test today and I think it mostly went well. I decided that I'll ask if they can give me a flexible schedule until December so I can finish school on time. I'm going to ask for one day off, and I'll work 8 hours for the rest of the week. If they agree, I'll accept it. If not, I'll do an internship instead.
Also had a question though: There was a lot of "put this logo 3.2 mm above this text" and so on. I just made a box that is 3.2 mm, zoomed in a lot, and used the box to measure. I feel like there should be an easier and more accurate way to do that though. Am I right? This is in Illustrator of course. I'd like to know for future reference.
