I beg to differ. I've had people on my friends lists in the past who managed to write a TON and say absolutely nothing. Every time i feel bad about the boringness of my life/blog, I go to one of my friends here and click on their friends list and get to read tons of strangers' blogs, one of whom is bound to make me feel better about my life. To sum up: not writing is better than writing badly or writing minutiae. :o)

Hey, thanks for the cheer-up, and guess what, Amy? My bored/boring mood was just broken - I scored! - I just got David Rakoff on my myspace friends list after entertaining him enough to persuade him to add me to his 8 (now 9)-person list of friends. !? Don't know who he is? Maybe you do (you seem to be better-read than I am), but I didn't till I started reading his book, "Don't Get Too Comfortable," a few weeks ago. You can never be completely sure whether someone on myspace is an imposter, but sometimes you can nose around and be 99.9% sure. Oh yeah, and I'm also listed as the spouse of "Wounded Cougar" now (another not-quite-yet-famous entity.) You really should come around - the fun is usually not there, but there's a little burst of fun there lately that's convinced me not to erase my page and delete my account there.
