SECTILE day (Part Two)
OK, so this'll be interesting.
Some weeks ago andysaunders stayed overnight at my place and we were talking about upcoming SECTILE day.
He decided to play a prank on me and "reshuffle" that flashcard into the file for June 14 (a day early)... but I did not know about this at the time.
Funny thing was, this past weekend Andy stayed at my place. I knew he had planned something mischevious for SECTILE day but I didn't know what... and I knew that at least one or two others were in on the gag.
This past Friday night, for some bizarre, inexplicable reason, I decided to have a look at my pile of flashcards for June 15 (today). The SECTILE flashcard was MISSING.
And there lay Andy Saunders, on my futon, sound asleep. Instead of waking him (or more likely than not putting a pillow over his face - LOL!) I just wrote him a note on my white board.
He discovered it the next morning.
So... on Monday, (June 14) sure enough I locate CEEILST in the middle of the cards -- which is why Andy wants to wish me a BELATED Happy SECTILE day today because he (and Mr. Lipe) claim that I actually saw the card yesterday.
Droll gentlemen... very droll.
But, in actual fact, today could be the LAST SECTILE day (or at least the second to last). See Part Three coming.
