[Ani is surprised to hear what sounds like an elderly woman's voice coming from the comm. WHAT IS THIS]

Pardon my intrusion, ma'am, but what nature of 'critter' are you chasing?

[Concerned assassin is concerned.]

[Golden frogs, frog legs. Randomly appearing. Okaaaaay.]

Well, I do hope you enjoy that, ma'am. I am not hungry at the moment, however, so I will have to decline your offer.

However, if you ever need some help, you can call me. I'm Ani Kerrigan.

Well my dear, me and some of the local folk are planning a big supper and you are more then welcome to join us. Um...when we figure out when that is.
And my name is Annie but folks call me Granny.

I would love to join this supper, whenever it may be.

I hope you will not mind if I call you Annie instead of Granny?

[Granny's exuberance suddenly fades. No one has called her Annie in years, and the last person who did was Pa and only during particularly tender or upsetting moments. Taking a moment to gather herself she responds just as motherly as ever.]
That's quite alright darlin'. You just call me whatever suits you best.

[Ani notices the change in tone - she's trained to, after all.]

I have upset you. I apologize. Do you have a last name I may call you by?

Oh don't be foolish! Annie will work just fine darlin'! Don't you worry none.
[Granny has grown up with a high value on hospitality and cannot bear to think she made another person uncomfortable so she attempts to brighten her tone.]

[Well that just makes Ani feel even worse, but she's gonna have to let it go for now. Elsewise, two stubborn women!]

Very well then, Miss Annie. I shall hope to see you when the supper party happens.

And if you need anything, feel free to contact me.

[Granny being quite oblivious, thinks she just smoothed over an awkward situation!]
That's mighty sweet of you Ani. And no need for the "Miss." Annie will do just fine.
