Firstly, this fanmix is in chronological order, starting in about 1200ish. For example, 9-14 are all set in the Eastern Bloc, 15 & 16 just after the fall of the Berlin Wall, and the bonus tracks are in the present day. I was going to try and find songs that tied in more with actual events, but then I realised how more pretentious than it already is that would be, and wouldn't actually focus on their relationship :3
Any songs you're confused about, just ask and I'll try and give a better explanation of what on earth I was thinking |D
Oh, and this is entirely based on 'Europa and the Pirate Twins' and 'Eastern Bloc', the follow-up track, in case you were wondering.
