Wherein I take the time to examine the flaws of my writing, and my general bad habits.
1. Jaggedness
There seems to be a lack of flow between sentences, a trait of my writing that I'm least proud of. Mostly I think it's because I tend to think of one scene, then jump to the next, and often the thread that links it all together is lost due to that. Plus, I abuse commas too much.
2. Limited vocabulary
Well I have made some improvement over the years, but there's a wealth of words out there for me to take and ingest. Also, perhaps I should rely more on a dictionary?
3. Sentence structure
I typically write like this: Adjective, action. Adjective, action. --> I need more variation.
4. Edit more!
I find myself editing a lot of my stuff AFTER I have posted them out. It's a lack of patience on my part. :X
