Playing around...
I haven't had many chances to try out my new equipment since it has been so ugly outside, but I did grab a few shots indoors. I feel like I won't get the full effect of this lens until my next session. Then I can go nuts with it!
Tariah and Thayana were nice enough to pose for me a bit. Well, kinda. :-)
And Tariah's face is priceless in this one (Think, "Duh, Mom - this is how it goes!"):
I was playing around with this one a bit because I wanted to see exactly how sharp the lens was. Though it's not a macro, it seems that I may be able to use it in a pinch - or when a low-light situation requires a lens that opens up a little wider. The shot has been cropped down, and look at how much it retains the sharpness and clarity in my ring:
So - as you can probably guess - I am itching to take this thing out and go crazy with it. :-)
