Sometimes I just don't understand!

My roommate sometimes has the most interesting logic. Last week, she made a cake - Funfetti, YUM! Of course, I had a few bites, but that probably only ended up equaling one piece. I know that our other roommate had at least one piece too, and I'm not sure if Damian got into it. Anyway, a few days ago, the fiery little cake -baker got all upset because she "only got two pieces of the cake that she had baked". At this point, there was still a couple pieces left. I made it a point to stay away from the cake from then on so she could make sure and have the last couple of pieces. But since her comment, she hadn't eaten any of the cake.

Cut to this morning. I want the damn cake pan off my counter, but there is still two pieces of cake in it. So I text her, asking if she is going to finish the cake. She replies, "No, I've only had two pieces. I figured you guys were eating it." I told her that we were not, and she says, "I will clean it when I get home." I told her that I could package up the rest of the cake for her if she would like, and she told me "Oh, no thank you. Remember, I don't eat things after a few days. Ha, I just kept it because it got less and less every time I looked. But thank you."

W. T. F.? Whatever.

Yesterday the girls and I went on a mini shopping spree, which I have been needing. We got new sandals and a new swimsuit for Thayana, a couple shirts and a new pair of sunglasses for me, and two new DS games and a new backpack for Tariah. I LOVE the backpack, and it's the perfect style for Tariah. Plus, it's padded in the back and much nicer quality than her Old Navy backpack, and it was only ten bucks. Gotta love Ross!

And Thayana's swimsuit from Target (she picked it out herself!).

I'm still looking for a couple more nice shirts before I stop spending my hard-earned money for the week. :-) Also, last night I purchased this bad baby:

It was expensive, but definitely worth it. I can't wait for it to get here so I can play with it! I needed this product in order to assemble Tim and Holly's wedding album, so hopefully we will see how that turns out soon! I also need new business cards, and I'm getting pretty desperate. But because I am an artist, I can't go to just any online printing business. I want one of the lovely finishes that my lab offers, but I can't get their templates to work properly for me. Hopefully they will get back to me soon!
