Delayed post.
Ooops - I started this post a couple days ago and never finished it. Better late than never.
New photo up in my photography blog. I think it's really neat what can come out of my camera when I am striving to get something that is up to my standards. And this is part of the reason that someone thought of the Photo A Day concept. The more you use your camera, the better you get with it. Here's the picture, and my view on it is in the new blog!
I am constantly reminded of my photography wish list, in which I wrote all the little things I would like to have to make me a better photographer. It looks like I may be able to check a few of them off my list this wedding season, including one or both of the new lenses, the card reader, the Totally Rad actions, the album-designing program, and something to aid my flash in low-light situations. Hoping, hoping, hoping... I am also waiting for a few wedding deposits right now, so perhaps I will be able to get at least one lens before the actual wedding season starts. If not, I may rent one. I am praying that taxes will help too. I need to get on top of that.
Unfortunately, I got sick yesterday and I have been stuck on the couch all day today too, so I never did my photo of the day for those two days. Already fell off the bandwagon, darn it. Oh well - I will make up for it. The thing that bugs me the most is that I had to reschedule my shoot from today. Arg. I was REALLY looking forward to it.
Tomorrow we head to Roseville to grab the girls and go to a birthday party at John's Incredible Pizza. I heard it's a super fun place. I can't wait to take the girls. :-)
