Melting Pot on a Friday night.

So Damian and I had a great time doubling up with Anne and Austin on Friday night. I wish I had captured a shot of the four of us together, but I was a bit distracted by the food, the drink, the quality guy that Anne had chosen, and my boyfriend's clumsiness. :-) Here is a picture of him and I from that night - taken on the camera phone, of course:




And that picture was taken directly before Damian knocked my whole glass of ice water into my lap. He hit it dead-on. Other than the soggy pants I had to wear during the meal, it was pretty awesome. Anne got plenty to eat even though she is the pickiest eater in the world, she and Austin both got a chance to experience The Melting Pot for the first time, and Damian and I tried some new dishes too. Here is what we had ordered:

The Lobster Indulgence Big Night Out:
Boston Lager Cheddar Cheese Fondue
Southwestern Cobb Salad for him, California Salad for me
Mojo cooking style with the following dippers:
-Lobster tails
-Cedar Plank Salmon
-Key West Shrimp
-Memphis BBQ Pork Tenderloin
-Honey Dijon Chicken
-Spinach Artichoke Ravioli
-Fresh veggies
I can't remember if the chocolate fondue was the one with Bailey's in it or not, but it was good either way.
I also had a Pomegranate Cosmo and another awesome martini.

I love that place.
