Beating each other in the head.

I have to say that, despite the fact that I enjoyed the Rocky movies, I just don't understand the concept of two grown men getting into the ring to beat each other into oblivion. I just don't agree with it. It was hard enough for me to watch the movie, and I know it's choreographed. I can't imagine watching real fights. My favorite quote from ( Read more... )

I completely agree with the boxing thing. I just don't get it. Justin gets a huge kick out of it, but I don't watch because I find it totally barbaric.

Tariah is so adorable!!

Thanks! I love(ed) her hair, but she decided to play "hair stylist" this weekend at Blaine's parents' house. (See comment below.)

Nick loves boxing and UFC as well. It is not my thing but I kind of understand the sport in it.

I love those pictures of Tariah. I'm glad to hear that she is doing well in school.

Thanks - she is so adorable. It's nice to be able to get cute pics of my kids. :-)

I need to update about school, though. She seems to not be able to focus some days, but she understands the material.

Apparently the girls decided to play beauty shop at grandma's over the weekend. I didn't get to see the result on Tariah, but Marisa is missing her bangs and several chunks of hair around the sides and back. I don't know how you feel about it but I was pretty PO'd. You would think that with 8-10 adults in that house at the time, someone would be keeping an eye on the kids.

Did Tariah's beautiful hair get chopped too? I didn't see Thayana but I had a horrible visual of both T & M working on her hair. Poor baby.

No effing kidding. When I got upset about it, Blaine was like, "Trizza, it's just HAIR!" I told him that although I was upset about the hair, my main concern was the lack of supervision. It's highly unlikely that something like that would have happened at my house because I keep such a close eye on the girls.

I'm sorry about Marisa's hair. Tariah got the worst of it between my two - she has some chunks that are 3-4 inches shorter, so I am trying to decide if I am going to take her in and get it layered, or just cut it that short myself. Thayana's actually looks like someone tried to layer it at a hair place or something. It's still super cute, but I may have to get it professionally layered. We will see. Perhaps I might have to post a pic later. I am (very, very) slightly amused only because I love my beautiful girls so much, and I know that this is a learning experience that almost every little girl goes through.

Ack!! The lack of supervision is definitely an issue. Young girls with scissors unsupervised long enough to do that kind of damage could have really had some problems on their hands. Teresa cut the skin off of her knuckle one time just trying to cut pictures out of a magazine. So scary!!

Here is a funny one: when Kylie was in Kindergarten a little girl kept telling her how much she loved her hair, so when the teacher wasn't looking, Kylie cut out a large handful and gave it to the girl. She thought since the girl liked it so much, she would give her some of it. =p She sobbed when my mom had to cut almost five inches off her hair to even it out. Poor kid.
