Summer fun - it's coming whether I am ready or not!
There is so much for us to do during the summertime here. We already have some solid plans made, but also some tentative plans in the works. Damian and I have a houseboat trip planned for the end of this month. We had planned to take Tariah and Thayana to Disneyland and California Adventure, but now that I had to spend so much on camera equipment, I am not sure how that will go. I want to take the girls camping - maybe sometime in July. I was going to ask Damian if he wanted to go "adult camping" for his birthday weekend too. It just so happens that Blaine is supposed to have the girls that weekend. Perfect.
We had talked about going on a cruise at the end of the summer, but that's not likely to happen now. It would cost around $1000 for everything (for a very basic Mexican cruise), and I don't see that kind of money happening this summer. Maybe next year. My hope is that we can at least still swing the trip to Disneyland. Combined, it would cost about $800 to $1000.
We also have the Gauche Aquatic Park, which costs $4 per person, and Thayana is free this year. There are pools and slides and other fun things there, so I am sure we will be able to find a way to stay cool this summer.
