Gotta get it out of my head before I forget!

My daughter just woke up to go potty. I am so stunned. Hallelujah!

In other news, work was long and rather boring. The most fun part was helping customers. I don't know what it is, I just love it! Especially compared to scrubbing heavy mats! I think I am supposed to start on drive through soon - probably tomorrow or Tuesday. I work for the next four days straight and I also have over a thousand wedding pictures to edit. I have no clue how it will get done.

A reminder to myself - this is what I need to get done around the house in the next few months:

Tariah's Room:
Print, matte, frame and hang portraits on her walls.
Hang small shelves next to her window.
Invest in a shelf to hang on the last bare wall.
Decide whether or not to paint.
Get a white toy box.
Decide whether to hang canopy.
Make curtains.

Thayana's Room:
Get rid of changing table to make room for the toy box.
Shoot (or find), print, matte, frame and hang large portrait on her last bare wall.
Figure out what to do with narrow frame from Michaels.
Make valance and/or curtains.
See if mom will help me finish the quilt to match her set.
Figure out how to hang a shelf big enough to hold her books.

Our Room:
Print, matte, frame, and hang Cherry Champagne portrait.
Find gold paint and creme-colored paint to match the room.
Find a table runner to match our decor.
Find some sort of flower arrangement to put on the dresser.
Print and frame new portraits for the dresser.
Buy or make curtains.
Buy/make and hang a long scarf over the doorway leading to our bathroom.
Hang all bathroom decor, figure out what else we need.
Buy towels to match our decor.
Buy new lamps to match our decor.

Dining/Living Room:
Do something in the niche.
Finish shelves, find decorations for them, and hang them.
Figure out what pictures and/or portraits will go on the walls.
Get my husband to work on the flooring (ha!).

Family Room/Breakfast Nook:
Find and hang dark wood shelf with decorations and put grill above it.
Figure out what to do with big wall.
Buy or make valance and/or curtains.
Shoot, print, matte and hang four square portraits on the empty hall in nook.
Find a way to incorporate a bookshelf maybe and a couple of side tables.

So many ideas, so little money and time! And I am not even going into half of the ideas we have had for the outside of the house. But these have been swimming around in my head for the last year or so, and I wanted to make sure that I documented them.

I figured out that my first paycheck will be around $300 or so. With that, I am going to get my hair done and also pay some important bills. (Car registration = very important right now. Property taxes next! Blech!)
