Good news!

You know when something happens that makes you annoyed or upset and then you research the situation a little more and find a better alternative? Kind of like what was happening when we were buying houses - we thought that we wanted the other house (the model) so badly until we saw this house. This house ROCKS! We wouldn't be in this house if we didn't have the disappointment of losing the other house.

So the deal is that Jeniece isn't eligible to receive transportation to school (even though everyone is required to pay for it if they use it) because we only live 1.6 miles from the school. Well, this is not easy for me because I have the little ones and I have to get them up early and pack them up to take them with me. The cost is $150 annually round trip, which I was willing to pay the school district since it would be such a relief on me. Well, after a little research into the Yuba Sutter Transit website, I found out that Jeniece can get a monthly bus pass on the public bus for only $5 per month! Wow! Not only that, I get to feel like I am doing something in our community by cutting back on pollution and also supporting the public bus system here. So cool!

I need to get some cleaning done tonight. I didn't do much last night because I needed to edit some photos and that took an hour for TEN photos. They needed extensive work, so I guess it's ok. Now I need to work on my next batch! It's never-ending, I tell ya. So is housework, motherhood, and scrapbooking! No wonder I am always busy! I don't even remember the last time I was bored. Which is good for me because I don't play well with boredom. I must be doing something at ALL times!

So yay for Friday. Not that it's incredibly different from any other day for a housewife, but at least my hubby will be home. He will probably be working on his laptop - go figure - but he will be here. Um, hello! I didn't marry a lawyer or anything like that, so can we cut out some of the homework? Anyway, he promised to let me get some scrapbooking done. We'll see.

And one thing that would really piss me off tonight is something that has been happening for the past few weeks - receiving a phone call to come over to someone's house tonight and hang out when they have been blowing me off most of the time. Grrr.

Oh! And happy September everyone! This is one of my favorite months of the year - I wonder why? ;-)
