Yesterday, Thayana took her first steps without being prompted by one of us big people. It was so cute - almost like she was too bored with holding on to things and decided it would just be faster if she let go and went on her own. She is just doing so well! She hasn't done it on her own since, but I am optimistic that she is getting used to the idea of walking. She also got a new tooth (to the right of the bottom two teeth), and I think another new one may be in soon.

I guess I should write about my weekend first. On Saturday I went to the mall and spent WAAAAAAY too much money. I didn't really care, though. I guess we will figure it out. I traded my phone in for a Razr (which I absolutely LOVE), and then Tonia introduced to to an awesome new clothing store called City Wear. I have to say that I loved almost everything in that darn store. I wanted to buy one of everything. I bought every article of clothing that I tried on except for one shirt. So I ended up with four shirts, a dress, and a bra. I was stoked! I needed something to wear to go out with Siri last Sunday night, and I ended up with enough for two nights out! :-)

On Sunday, I took a nap and then headed over to Siri's to get ready to go out. I met her boyfriend Kevin first, who seemed really nice. Then we both got ready to grab a bite at Applebee's and then to Johnny's. I was nervous because I had asked Lon to meet us there since he had told me on Myspace that he had some stuff of mine from years ago. I ended up eating onion soup and a top shelf Long Island Iced Tea for dinner. :-) I should have slowed down after that, but most of the rest of the night is a blur. We got to the bar right before Lon and Kevin had already ordered my next drink - a GFQ. I am not going to go into the rest of the night, but it was fun and a little crazy. I am mostly happy to have a lot of things with Lonnie figured out so that I don't feel that he hates me still.

Monday we hung out at home and I did some grocery shopping, and then we went to Blaine's Uncle's house for the 4th. It was ok - mostly I enjoyed the good food and the chance to see a bunch of people that I don't see very often. Around seven, Blaine and I left his parents in charge of the kids and went to see a movie. We got to catch Superman, and I thought that it ROCKED! I loved the graphics and I can't wait to buy the movie. We came back to Blaine's parents' house to pick up Tariah and Thayana (who did surprisingly well being alone with grandma and grandpa for the first time), and then went over to Richard and Jana's. Lindy and Jeniece had gone over there to hang out with Chelsea, and that's where we did fireworks. Well, they did anyway - Thayana was so freaked out that she wanted nothing to do with the fireworks.

I can't wait for the last of season two of Sex and the City to come tomorrow from Blockbuster.com. I want to move on to all of the other seasons - there is so much to watch!

Right now I am backing up some work I did for various clients onto DVDs so that I can relieve some of the pressure on my second hard drive. Apparently I filled it up weeks ago. :-) I plan to take off a lot of the weddings and other portraits - along with my school work - so that I have enough room to dump more work on there. I have a lot of boudoirs and family portraits coming up, so I really could use the space.

We will be at Beth and Steven's reception tomorrow, so I see me running around for all of the good shots and definitely going over my Points. Grrrr. I hope I can get some good shots!

And one more thing - what the HECK is up with not being able to download any ringtones for my new RAZR?! I am stuck with factory ringtones! Ick! Now, my ringback tone is totally awesome. I love it. :-)
