And it begins "D" day

Jul 17, 2003 01:11

Well I started this wonderful diet that my wife wanted to go on. Let me tell you that "d" word is a scary thing. I don't think I have been on a diet since I wrestled in high school. But for my wife I will try anything, (not to mention I would love to have the body that I had in College). Ah the little dreams we all have. Well since I am on the road to success I figured this could be another thing that the wife and myself could conquer. Well lets get to the nitty gritty of the beginning of this thing. I am starting my diet weighing in at a hefty 297lbs. Trust me this is alot of weight even though most people say they can't believe it, (Liars). Ok here is the break down so far.

Start Weight: 297
First Goal: 270
Second Goal: 250
Personal Goal: 225
Min. Pts Needed: 35pts Max. Pts.: 40pts
(All this bearing if I start lifting weights again, in that case 250lbs is prime.)

Todays Meals and point Totals:

Breakfast: Oatmeal 4pts, Coffee 2pts
Snack: Kudos Bar 2pts
Lunch: La Bou-LF chicken Caesar salad 8pts, water 0pts
Snack: Grapes 1pt
Dinner: Chicken Taco Salad 13pts, Fruit Salad w/NF cool whip 3pts
Dessert: Ice Cream Sandwich 2pts
Total Pts: 35pts

Now all this jargon means something. Don't know what yet since right now my wife is dictating what is ok and not at the moment till I catch on. But so far I am enjoying the stuff I am eating right now. I was freaking scared, thinking to myself "No more steak and potatoes.... NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!". I am going to stick with it though, me staying on track will help my wife stay on track and that means happy Trizza.

Personal Thoughts for the day.

Well I have a meeting with my lawyer tuesday to discuss what direction we are going to go with my company. It's either going to be a sole proprietor ship or an S corp.. I can't tell you how excited I am on starting this business, I am seriously going to jump out of my skin. "What is it?", you ask. Well the name is Generations Beyond Design and we, or at the moment I, are designing custom homes for people not willing to give there dreams over to an architect that does not allow them there own input. I love architecture but the best thing of all is taking a clients dream home and putting it on paper for them. There is a gratification there that can't be explained. But that is not all this business will encompass by any means. We are also going to be computer consultants, network installers, communications cabling consultants, and graphics design shop also. I know thats a lot of things to cover by one person, but its going to be a gradual process to get there. On top of my own personal business I am also part of another corporation which buys properties to develop. Talk about the opportunity of a lifetime. The only risk I have is my time to design the houses that we are going to build. This will be the foundation of our families success. And that last thing is I will soon be a Primerica Financial Planner. I know, "How does that fit with everything else?", well it gives me the ability to write up loans for potential buyers of our homes. Thats right I will be making money on all aspects of the process except the brokering, (if all goes well that too). I have finally made up my mind that working for someone else is never going to get me where I want my family and myself to be. I want to be spending 70% of my day with my wife and kids by the time I am 37, ten years from now. Donating money to my church to inspire another generation in gods light. Well I have been informed that this will have to continue tomorrow so I will leave you with this quote.

"What one man can do, I can do also."
