WE ARE PORCUPINES.............

Jul 31, 2005 04:20

On a cold winter's day, a group of porcupines huddled together to stay warm and keep from freezing. But soon they felt each other' quills and moved apart. When the need for warmth brought them closer, again their quills forced them apart. They were driven so many times back and forth at the mercy of their discomforts until they found the distance from one another that provided both a maximum of warmth and a minimum of pain.

Gee, sounds familiar. Like when the monotony of being isolated by yourself your need of 'society' inhances. This brings people closer together, but sometimes many things that we can't stand in one another drives people apart again. Until they are at that perfect distance when they finally find themselves coexisting with each other in politeness and good manners. Because of this distance between us all, we can only partially satisfy our need for warmth, but at the same time, we stay away from getting stabbed by each other's quills.

***how many people can relate to this?

UNBELIEVABLE
