Reading Habits
Do you snack while you read? If so, favorite reading snack?
I don't eat, or not eat intentionally while reading. I'm not opposed to snacking while reading. I tend to get very involved in what I am reading though :)
Do you tend to mark your books as you read, or does the idea of writing in books horrify you?
My personal books I do not mark up aside from text books. I do love having a hilighter in hand while reading a text book.
How do you keep your place while reading a book? Bookmark? Dog-ears?
I love using bookmarkers, although with some library books if I have nothing on hand I will sometimes dog ear pages.
Laying the book flat open?
Neutral
Fiction, Non-fiction, or both?
Both, depending on my mood.
Hard copy or audiobooks?
I prefer hard copies. I have listened to audio books and they are a nice change of pace from time to time. I have recently used a Kindle, which I must say I enjoyed.
Are you a person who tends to read to the end of chapters, or are you able to put a book down at any point?
I am able to put a book down at any point.
If you come across an unfamiliar word, do you stop to look it up right away?
Not right away, if I remember the word at a later time I will look it up. Although, I should try rushing to look it up.

A cook book for a friend's birthday present.
Are you the type of person that only reads one book at a time or can you read more than one at a time?
I can read more than one book at a time, which works for me since I love to multi task!

I'll read ANYWHERE and love it. I don't discriminate against anywhere when it comes to reading.
Do you prefer series books or stand alone books?
I don't have a preference. Series books are fun to read though, because it's like the fun never ends. I also like having more to look forward to. It makes the ending that much better.
Is there a specific book or author that you find yourself recommending over and over?
Not particularly.
How do you organize your books? (By genre, title, author’s last name, etc.?)
Unfortunatly, my books are not organized the way they should be..with that being said, they are actually not organized by any standards AT ALL :(
