Issues

Specifically, re: Tear's voice.  Watching the Abyss anime was what got me to want play her, and that was fine and dandy. Until I decided to replay the game to brush up, the NA version. And that began to set me off.  Maybe it's the actors' portrayal of her, or maybe it's just me, but Tear is quite different in Japanese compared to English. The localization team seem to have made her more strict and cold, while in Yukana's acting she shows more emotion and femininity.  NA Radiant Mythology made her a little softer but remained true with the NA version of Abyss. Tales of Fandom 2 showed how she grew up from the brat she was. And if my recent threads are any indication, I've hit massive bumps and failed quite hard at playing all these parts of personality ICly.

So, to somehow reconcile and merge these aspects of her is my goal. I don't want to omit any, because I love each of them, and I'm selfish and anal like that.

IC, Tear's...not at a good place. The miasma can't be cured, to her knowledge, and while Luke being here is one less worry(the rest of the party can handle themselves fine, and this is Luke) she's not sure how to handle the information about her brother he brought with him. There's no real closure about Van, since she wasn't there to witness the events. She's trying to deal with all of this, and Riya some people may have noticed she's a bit more sharper due to the stress of repressing and stuff.

I don't really want to call a semi-hiatus, because all of you are awesome and wonderful ♥ and I love threading with you, but with voice issues, work, family, and all associated holiday rush, I'm thinking on it to straighten things out.
