I can't believe I did this but.. I got out my saxophone today and played it! I've been thinking a lot about it lately and wondering what condition things were in. After talking about music and getting out my books, I decided to give Kilik and the neighborhood a wake up call. According to my mom, I did better than expected. It's been 3 years since I played last.
Yesterday I went to the Great Lakes Fiber Show! Got lots of neato stuff. I took some pictures in the dark and will post when I have more time. Mostly everything was au naturale - undyed and in fleece form. I bought one dyed silk bell and one baggie of various greens. Got some alpaca locks, a blue-faced leicester/border leicester fleece, a shetland/mohair blend roving, 2 shuttles, and a book. I'm quickly running out of space in my living room.
