Welcome back!
I decided that I want to start (to try) to write in this again! I was reading up on past LJ entries and I noticed that I whined and said/did a lot of meaningless things. But there was something about reading those old entries that made me really appreciate who I am.
So let's see.. I'm going to be 19 in a month and I'm finishing up my first year at USM. I'm taking classes like astronomy, archeaolgy, psychology, oceanography, and kickboxing. USM isn't bad, but I'm not getting that college experience since I'm living at home. However, I'm saving $5,000.. which is nice. I applied to Humboldt State University in northern California and I should find out the results around early March. I'm super nervous but I can't help make big plans for if I do end up going. I signed up for a trip to Greece to do some field work in geology for a month if Humboldt doesn't work out, but I'm way more excited to hopefully get into HSU. My job title currently consists of "corporate tool", I stack movies at a local movie store and I'm applying to be a camp counselor at a couple of camps near Sebago, I have to be outside during the summer. I'm applying to be an environmental ed/rock climing-ropes course advisor.. which is way more fun than knowing exactly where The Godfather is on the shelf. It's not SO bad, but I do need to get out of there. ASAP.
Yeah, I think I'd like to start updating more. For my own sake.
