I command you!
So I'm usually all laid back about TV, books, and film... but I have just come across a film that won't get out of my head. I have to share it's existence with everyone.
It's called "Let the Right One In" (see movie page, here www.lettherightoneinmovie.com/), which is actually the English translation. It's a Swedish film based on a Swedish book, which I have already ordered from Amazon, and it's about a VAMPIRE.
Here's the deal. I HATE VAMPIRES. So if I say that this movie about a vampire is good, then you know it has to be good. OMG it is so good. Easily the greatest film I have seen in the past year. And WAAAAAAY easily the greatest vampire story ever.
Go watch it now. (It was released in Europe and at film festivals last year, but just now came to [limited] wide release the US.) Or just buy it. It comes out in DVD in the US March 10.
