Post Christmas, New year
Twas the season to be jolly.
Things I hate abut Christmas:
1. Poverty- Everyone's broke at Christmas. Friends and family to shop for, food to buy, ect.
2. The fact that it's the time of year everyone is reminded that it's about family and those who have no one are left with the feeling of sheer loneliness and isolation.
3. There is no Santa. Yes I'm bitter about this, I'd like the idear of a big fat guy giving pressies to all the kiddies of the world. Christmas has no magic anymore.
Things I like aout Christmas.
1. Hymns and carols. I'm one of those who loves listening to the Christmas music, it's just something that lifts your spirits.
2. Traditions - Muppets Christmas carol, hat on the head, loud music and family rows, these are a few of my traditions.
3. Telling people it's the season on increased suicide rates, let 'em chew one that! HA!
Still, over all, good christmas this year.
New years I celebrated with the prodigal Phil and his family. Seafood, vodka and laughs. Loved it!
My birthday is fast approching, means the gang gathers for the big 2-1 at my little hovel! Yay! Na and I once more celebrate the fact our birthdays are a day apart and organise our parties with a week's worth of space between 'em this year.
So, to all on these wonderful days: Merry Christmas, Happy new year and happy birthday!
