As I sit in my room, typing away at my computer with a smoke hanging out of my mouth and no ever present cup of coffe at my side, the idea strikes me to write some movie reviews.
And so, here I go.
Charlie and the Chocolate factory:

Liked the backstory, like the scenery. But it hold not a candle to the 1970's version. Depp has nothing on Gene Wilder and never will. Not one of the best from Burton I must say, Depp just can't be as creepy as Gene can be.
Underworld Evolution:
2/5
Waste of money. Totally. a. waste. of. good. cash. Or would have been had I payed for my ticket. Not even Kate Beckingsale's nude scene managed to save this movie (No tits, we cried, we want tits), bad plot, bad acting, worse script. If you want a good vampire film, rent out B. Stroker's Dracula- Gary Oldman is THE vampire king. For a good werewolf movie, go for Company of Wolves (As I WILL hunt down that DVD).

Burton redeemed himself for this one. So cute and freakish at the same time. Yeah, we all were calling out 'Stick with the dead chick!'. Loved the music, loved the humour. Very Beetlejuice there. Still need to see it the whole way through sober...

TILDA. FUCKING. SWINTON! Need I say more? Well, proberly. Excellent adaptation, great effect (Go Weta! Whoo!) and it expands the story far more the Lewis ever could.
And soon, my friends, we have American Mcgee's Alice coming to us! YES! And Mirrormask too if we're lucky.

Thick and heavy enough to kill small children, this book is a complex but wonderful to read. Magic, 19th century London and someone finally portrayed faeries as they were meant to be portrayed: as utter evil bastards.

Humour and gods. A great take on familys and why we love/hate 'em. Why stories matter and why they belong to Anansi. Hell, read it! Like JS & MN it cannot be discribed.
Not much else at this stage. Just me needing to get that cup of coffee and read some more slash or nc-17 rated gunk. Yes porn, gods bless those perverts little souls *sigh*.
